There are no legal opportunities to work as a household service worker in Egypt, unless they are under the sponsorship of diplomats, officials of international organizations and other high-level officials.
According to the Egyptian Labor Law (Article 4.B – General Provisions), “The provisions of the present Law shall not apply to: Domestic service workers and the like.”
