Passports

The Philippine Passport is at all times the property of the Republic of the Philippines. It must be surrendered upon demand by an authorized representative of the Philippine Government.

The information provided in the passport application form must be true and correct. False statements, or falsified or forged supporting documents is punishable under the law. 

The public is advised to renew their passports at least nine (9) months before it expires.

HOW TO BOOK AN ONLINE APPOINTMENT

  1. Go to www.passport.gov.ph

  2. Click "Schedule an appointment"

  3. Read and agree to Terms and Conditions by checking the box.

  4. Click "Start individual appointment" for one (1) application or "Start group appointment" for 2-5 applications/persons.

  5. For Region, choose "Middle East/Africa"

  6. For Country, choose "Egypt"

  7. For Site, choose "PE Cairo", click Next

  8. Choose your appointment

  9. Fill out the form. Make sure all personal information are correct. Use a valid email address where your confirmation email will be sent.

  10. Submit your application.

  11. Check your email. CONFIRM your appointment WITHIN 1 HOUR.

  12. After you have confirmed your appointment, you will receive your application form for your confirmed appointment via email.

  13. Print appointment form and bring with you on the day of your application.

REQUIREMENTS

NEW: Minor Filipino children born abroad

  1. Confirmed appointment (Book Appointment)

  2. Accomplished Application Form via the online passport application system.

  3. Personal appearance of the child and parent/s

  4. PSA Report of Birth (original and photocopy)

  5. Copy of parents’ passports

  6. If the child has no Report of Birth, the Report must first be filed at the Embassy

  7. Fee: US$60.00

RENEWAL:

  1. Confirmed appointment (Book Appointment)

  2. Accomplished Application Form via the online passport application system.

  3. Personal appearance

  4. Current passport (original and 1 photocopy)

  5. PSA Birth Certificate for those without a middle name (passports issued before 1995)

  6. Married woman: additional PSA Marriage Certificate if you are using your maiden name

  7. Minor child: additional copy of PSA Birth Certificate or PSA ROB and copies of parents’ passports

  8. Fee: US$60.00

LOST PASSPORT:

  1. Confirmed appointment (Book Appointment)

  2. Accomplished Application Form via the online passport application system.

  3. Personal appearance

  4. If available, photocopy of last (lost) passport

  5. PSA Birth Certificate

  6. Affidavit of Loss stating how the passport was lost (may be processed at the Embassy)

  7. Police Report - translated to English by a government accredited licensed translation center

  8. Married woman: additional PSA Marriage Certificate if you are using your married name

  9. If records cannot be verified: additional submission of valid Philippine government-issued IDs with integrated picture (ex: driver’s license, PRC card, SSS/GSIS ID), school and other records confirming identity

  10.  Fee: US$150.00

            US$25.00 for Affidavit of Loss

NOTE: Processing of renewal of a lost passport will begin after 15-day mandatory clearing period from date of submission of requirements
