NBI Clearance
The Philippine Embassy does not directly issue NBI Clearances, we only issue a certification and the fingerprint card for the applicant to submit to NBI through mail or authorized representative.

How to Acquire NBI Clearance of Filipino Abroad?​

Present the confiremd appointment (Book Appointment).

Completely fillout the Special Power of Attorney (if with representative).

Submit the following requirements:

Copy of Passport Page;​

Copy of the valid ID of the authorized representative; and

Two pieces of 2x2 picture with white background

Fill out the NBI Clearance Application Form 5 at the Philippine Embassy.

After completing the application form, the application may opt to send it through mail or a designated authorized representative.​

A. for Mailing, send the aplpication to:

Mailed Clearance Section
3rd Floor, NBI Clearance Building
UN Avenue, Ermita Taft Manila, Philippines 1000
NOTE: Enclose the amount of P200.00 or US Dallar equivalent to cover the clearance fee of one hundred thirty pesos (P130.00) and seventy pesos (P70.00) for mailing fee.
B. By authorized representative.

The original Special Power of Attorney and NBI Form No. 5 must be given to the authorized representative.

Register online at https://clearance.nbi.gov.ph, select NBA Main Clreance Center as the preferred NBI Site.

Select a payment channel (e.g. Bayad Center) to complete transaction and secure the Reference Number.

After Payment, the representative may proceed to the NBI Mailed Clearance Section
