AMBASSADOR TAGO CALLS ON EGYPTIAN FOREIGN MINISTRY OFFICIALS

From 29-31 July 2025, Philippine Ambassador to Egypt Ezzedin H. Tago called on Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs officials including Chief of Protocol Ambassador Haitham Salah; Assistant Foreign Minister for Asia, Australia, New Zealand and Pacific Islands Affairs Ambassador Ahmed Shahin; and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for Emigration Affairs, Ambassador Nabil Habashy.

During the courtesy calls, Ambassador Tago expressed his sincere appreciation to the MFA for the assistance, facilitation, and support extended to him and to the Philippine Embassy during his residency as ambassador supporting his mission to enhance bilateral relations between Philippines and Egypt. In addition to the courtesy farewell call, pending, future, and upcoming initiatives to push Philippine-Egypt relations forward were also discussed.

Ambassador Tago will end his tour of duty as Philippine Ambassador to Egypt on 22 August 2025.END
