E-Visa
Starting 05 October 2026, Egyptian and Sudanese nationals, including permanent residents in Egypt, are advised to lodge their visa applications through the official Philippine Electronic Visa (e-Visa) system (evisa.gov.ph).
IMPORTANT REMINDERS

The E-visa is NOT CONVERTIBLE, NOT EXTENDABLE

Payment is NON-REFUNDABLE, if application is denied.

Visa applicants who plan to convert (such as students) or extend their visa while in the Philippines CANNOT use the e-Visa system and must follow the manual application procedures provided in www.philippines-egypt.com/visas.

A Philippine e-visa serves as a pre-entry clearance. Visa holders are still subject to standard immigration controls at ports of entry into the Philippines. Airport immigration officers have the authority to deny or restrict / limit the entry of a foreigner, as may be warranted by circumstances.

You may reserve a plane ticket for submission but do not pay for it until you have received your visa because your visa may be issued after the date of your reserved plane tickets.

Approved visa applicants must register to Etravel.gov.ph within 72 hours from the intended flight to the Philippines.
Visit evisa.gov.ph and follow the following steps:
1️⃣ Create your account

Visit the official Philippine e-Visa website, evisa.gov.ph and create an account or log in to your existing account.
2️⃣ Fill out the Application Form and Upload Required Documents

Provide the required personal, passport, travel, and other relevant information. Indicate ALL YOUR NAMES as they appear on your passport and make sure that all details entered are accurate and consistent with your supporting documents. Upload clear and valid copies of the required documents according to your visa category and circumstances.
9A TEMPORARY VISITOR'S VISA - SINGLE ENTRY (TOURISM/BUSINESS)
Applicants are advised to apply at least one (1) month before the expected date of travel:

Copy of passport that is at least six (6) months valid beyond the intended stay in the Philippines

Temporary airline ticket with a return flight scheduled not later than thirty (30) days from the date of arrival in the Philippines

Copy of hotel accommodation or proof of accommodation
-
Proof of financial capability to travel: latest bank statement must include account name, account number, current balance, account currency (account should contain at least US$3,000.00 or its equivalent)
Additional Requirements:
Single-Entry Visa for Spouses or Children of Filipino nationals

Invitation letter from Filipino spouse/parent (Note: Invitation letters must indicate the address and telephone number of the host in the Philippines with a copy of the spouse / parent's passport or ID)

For spouses of Filipino nationals- PSA issued marriage contract or marriage contract authenticated by the by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of the country they got married in
-
For children of Filipino nationals- Birth certificate authenticated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of the country of birth, with English translation
NOTE: In lieu of the hotel accommodation, notarized Invitation Letter stating the complete address where the applicant will be staying in the Philippines with a copy of the passport of the host/inviting person.
Single-entry visa for Temporary visitors (tourism, short trainings, etc.)
Additional requirements for business purposes:

Letter from the company stating the nature of the trip

HR letter stating the monthly salary and position in the company

Notarized Invitation Letter from the company in the Philippines with Certificate of Authority for a Notarial Act (CANA) from the Regional Trial Court

Copy of Passport/Valid ID and Company ID or proof of Employment of the inviting person/sponsor
If the applicant is a minor:

Birth Certificate, with English translation
-
Letter that the parents guarantee/will be paying the expenses of the trip
-
Bank statement of parent account name, account number, current balance, account currency (account should contain at least US$3,000.00 or its equivalent)
Multiple-Entry E-visa
-
All the requirements for single Entry and a multiple entry request letter stating the reasons for applying the said visa.

Applicants are advised to apply at least two (2) months before the expected date of travel.
The Embassy reserves the right to require the submission of additional supporting documents when necessary.
3️⃣ Make Payment
-
Pay the required visa fees using the available online payment options, as applicable. Upload the proof of payment within 48 hours to avoid cancellation of your application.

4️⃣ (If requested) Submit original or additional documents and wait for the e-Visa to be
processed

If requested by the Philippine Embassy, submit the original documents required for your application.
5️⃣ Receive your e-Visa via email and registered e-Visa account

Once approved, download your electronic visa and present it together with your valid passport and other required travel documents when traveling to the Philippines.
Note: The e-Visa must NOT be affixed or pasted onto the passport.
