EMBASSY BUSES FROM KHARTOUM TO PORT SUDAN(As of 06 May 2023, 1530HRS, Egypt Standard Time)

There will be two (2) buses leaving Khartoum to Port Sudan tomorrow, Sunday, 07 May 2023 at 5am. The meeting point will be at the International University of Africa, Khartoum. Filipinos joining the evacuation must proceed themselves to this pickup point.

We strongly urge all kababayans in Sudan to join this Embassy-coordinated transportation to Port Sudan. There are no more planned Embassy coordinated / organized buses after this.

Those joining this evacuation should do the following before departing onboard the buses:

1. Send clear copies of their passport to cairo.pe@dfa.gov.ph and Jeddah.pcg@dfa.gov.ph and provide the following information:

Full name (as indicated in your passport):

Phone number:

Is your passport and residence visa valid? (Yes/No)

Name and contact details of your next-of-kin in the Philippines:

2. Notify the Embassy first before riding the bus. You must register in advance, or else there may be no seats for you.

3. Bring cash with you as the journey and wait in Port Sudan will take on average five (5) days. You will need to find a place to stay. There are sufficient places in Port Sudan for this.
