The Philippine Embassy informs the public that, in line with the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) Public Advisory, passport applications filed from the last week of March 2026 onward may experience delays in release until further notice due to logistical and supply chain issues caused by the ongoing Middle East crisis.

The DFA is closely coordinating with its third-party service provider for ePassport printing to address the current delays and ensure that passport operations return to normal as soon as possible.

Applicants are advised to monitor updates and coordinate with the Philippine embassy for further information on the release and claiming of passports. The Embassy apologizes for any inconvenience and appreciates the public’s understanding and patience.

Applicants are also reminded to renew their passports at least nine (9) months before expiration.
