Philippine Ambassador Presents Credentials to Djibouti President H.E. Ismail Omar Guelleh





22 November 2021. On 18 November 2021, H.E. Ezzedin H. Tago, Ambassador of the Philippines to the Republic of Djibouti presented the letters of credence and recall of his predecessor to His Excellency Ismail Omar Guelleh, President of the Republic of Djibouti, at the Presidential Palace in Djibouti City.


In his statement, Amb. Tago conveyed the Philippine government’s desire to further strengthen the bilateral cooperation between the Philippines and Djibouti, particularly through trade and investment, tourism and maritime cooperation. He also thanked the Djiboutian government for graciously hosting the 300 Filipinos who have found their home in the country.


In response, President Guelleh affirmed the friendship between the Philippines and Djibouti, and looks forward to implement the signed bilateral agreements that will mutually benefit the two countries. END.
