PH EMBASSY PARTICIPATES IN 2025 ACC BOWLING TOURNAMENT

08 September 2025- The Philippine Embassy in Cairo participated in the 2025 ASEAN Committee in Cairo (ACC) Bowling Tournament at the International Bowling Center in Nasr City hosted by the Embassy of Myanmar.

Seventeen (17) teams from the nine ASEAN Missions in Cairo competed in the friendly match. The Philippine Embassy had two (2) teams led by Charge d'affaires Ms. Crystal Ann S. Dunuan and Vice Consul Bryan B. Fernandez. Two (2) student representatives from Philippine Students Association in Cairo (PhilSAC) namely Mr. Ibrahim Abdulmandangan and Mr. Hafidz Isa also joined the Philippine team.

After three games, the Embassy of Malaysia received the Highest Team Score Award. The Embassy of Myanmar received the Second Highest Team Score Award while a second team from the Embassy of Malaysia got the Third Highest Team Score Award.

The bowling tournament aims to promote ASEAN awareness, and brings together the ASEAN community in Egypt. END
