PH EMBASSY IN EGYPT HOLDS SPECIAL FLAG RAISING CEREMONY TO COMMEMORATE THE 127TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE DECLARATION OF PHILIPPINE INDEPENDENCE

12 June 2025- The Philippine Embassy in Egypt held a special flag raising ceremony to celebrate the 127th Anniversary of the Proclamation of Philippine Independence. The theme for the year’s celebration is “Kalayaan.Kinabukasan.Kasaysayan“or "Freedom, Future, History."

Embassy officers and staff led by Ambassador Ezzedin Tago gathered together at the chancery for the ceremony. Thereafter, the National Day messages of President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr., First Lady Liza Araneta Marcos and DFA Secretary Enrique Manalo, were played. The messages highlight the nation’s ongoing pursuit of a just and equitable Bagong Pilipinas, where all citizens have equal opportunities and a voice in nation-building.

Ambassador Tago also took the opportunity to remind the staff attending the ceremony of the significance of the celebration and their duties as public servants. END
