PH EMBASSY IN CAIRO SBOC MEMBERS CONVENE FOR THE CANVASSING OF THE 2025 NATIONAL ELECTIONS

12 May 2025- The members of the Special Board of Canvassers (SBOC) of the Philippine Embassy in Cairo convened to discuss the canvassing rules and procedures for the 2025 National Election overseas. They also received updates on the status of the shipment of SBOC equipment sent by the COMELEC. Thereafter, the meeting was suspended until the kit and materials are in the possession of the SBOC. The SBOC equipment is necessary for the conduct of the canvassing of votes.

Present during the meeting were SBOC Chairperson Ms. Crystal Ann Dunuan, SBOC Vice Chairperson Ms. Francia Ybañez, SBOC Secretary Mr. Romeo Lariza Jr., SBOC-Reception and Custody Group Member Mr. Camaloden Guro, Consolidation and Canvassing System Operator Ms. Sohaila Amerol-Alonto as well as two (2) members of the SBRCG Ms. Linda Cadiang and Mr. Conrad LLona Jr. END.
