PH Embassy Attends 284th ASEAN Committee in Cairo Meeting

08 April 2026 - Ms. Crystal Ann S. Dunuan, Charge d’Affaires and Third Secretary Bryan B. Fernandez attended the 284th ASEAN Committee in Cairo (ACC) Meeting along with the Heads of Missions and representatives of the other eight (8) ASEAN states represented in Cairo- Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapore, Thailand and Viet Nam.

The meeting included a discussion on ACC activities such as engagements with Egyptian government officials, business organizations, think tanks and universities. The members also discussed latest developments in the region as well as the status and welfare of their respective nationals in Egypt. END.
