PH AMBASSADOR ATTENDS 280th ASEAN COMMITTEE IN CAIRO MEETING

On 31 July 2025, Philippine Ambassador Ezzedin Tago attended the 280th ASEAN Committee in Cairo (ACC) Meeting which was also attended by the other Heads of Missions of the eight (8) ASEAN states represented in Cairo- Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapore, Thailand and Viet Nam.

The Committee discussed 2025 activities including lectures at a local university and at the Institute of Diplomatic Studies. The ambassadors also shared their bilateral activities since the last meeting in June.

During the meeting, departing ambassadors including Ambassador Tago, Ambassador H.E. Mr. UK Sarun of Cambodia, and Ambassador H.E. Mr. Nguyễn Huy Dũn of Viet Nam also took the opportunity to bid their farewells to the ACC members. For his part, Ambassador Tago thanked the ACC ambassadors for their friendship and cooperation in promoting ASEAN in Egypt.END.
