PH AMBASSADOR ATTENDS 278th ASEAN COMMITTEE IN CAIRO MEETING

29 April 2025— Ambassador Ezzedin Tago attended the 278th ASEAN Committee in Cairo (ACC) Meeting together with the other Heads of Missions of the eight (8) ASEAN states represented in Cairo- Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapore and Thailand.

During the meeting, the ambassadors reviewed the successful ASEAN activities implemented during the first quarter such as the joint iftar celebrated with Egyptian officials, and the brown bag session held at a local university. They also discussed pending projects for the year which include proposals to increase economic activities and engagements between the ASEAN missions and Egypt.

The meeting was followed by a networking reception where the ACC mingled with members of the diplomatic corps, Egyptian officials and business community. END.
