06 April 2026 - The Philippine Embassy in Egypt, in partnership with the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) and the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) launched the OFW Help Desk, an initiative dedicated to supporting and assisting our Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) throughout Egypt.
The OFW Help Desk will serve as a support hub where kababayans can access guidance on labor counseling, queries/clarification on verification of contracts, assistance for the online application of OEC and inqueries on OWWA-related programs and services.
The Help Desk will operate for a limited period from 06 April 2026 (Monday) - 09 April 2026 (Thursday), 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Consular Section of the Philippine Embassy, Building 9, Street 215 corner Street 217, Degla Maadi, Cairo. APPOINTMENT IS NOT REQUIRED!
