Meeting with Filipino Students at Al-Azhar University with the Education Development Center for Al-Azhar International Students (EDCAIS)

On 12 August 2024, Ambassador Tago and members of the Philippine Students Association in Cairo (PhilSAC) attended a forum organized by Al-Azhar University officials, led by Dr. Nahla Al-Saeedy, President of the Education Development Center for Al-Azhar International Students (EDCAIS), to discuss the concerns of the Filipino students enrolled in the University.
During the forum, Dr. Al-Saeedy and Amb. Tago addressed accordingly the queries and requests raised by the student attendees. Dr. Al-Saeedy stressed the importance of the forum as part of Al-Azhar’s commitment in supporting international students and in providing them an environment conducive to academic success.
Amb. Tago expressed his appreciation to EDCAIS and specially Dr. Nahla Al-Saeedy for organizing and hosting the forum and for the assistance extended to the Filipino students.END
Meeting with Filipino students at Al-Azhar University offers a unique perspective on international education and cross-cultural collaboration. Many participants also consider Executive courses in Cairo, Egypt to strengthen their leadership and management skills. Engaging in such programs helps build professional networks while gaining deeper insights into the evolving educational landscape.
