EMBASSY COLLABORATES WITH NMEC FOR CELEBRATION OF MUSEUMS AND GALLERIES MONTH THROUGH SPECIAL GUIDED TOUR FOR FILIPINO STUDENTS

17 October 2025-The Philippine Embassy in Egypt, in collaboration with the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC), organized a special tour of the Museum in celebration of the Museums and Galleries Month for Filipino students based in Cairo.
Charge d’Affaires Crystal Ann Dunuan, alongside Cultural Officer and Attaché Ms. Diane Khrystene Oclarino accompanied the group of students and Embassy staff. The tour was led by NMEC Representative Ms. Maisara Salah Abd elAziz, who provided an insightful and engaging walkthrough of Egypt’s rich cultural heritage.
A total of eighteen (18) Filipino students, currently enrolled in various schools across Egypt, participated in the educational tour. The initiative aimed to deepen their appreciation of Egypt’s ancient civilization while fostering cultural exchange and awareness.
The Embassy extends its heartfelt appreciation to the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization for their continued support and collaboration in promoting cultural education and engagement among the Filipino youth in Egypt.
This activity forms part of the Embassy’s ongoing efforts to celebrate Museums and Galleries Month and to strengthen cultural ties between the Philippines and Egypt.END
