As part of its Buwan ng Wika celebration, the Philippine Embassy in Egypt successfully held the second session of its Tinikling Dance Workshop, bringing together young members of the Filipino community to celebrate Filipino culture through one of the country's most iconic traditional dances.
The workshop allowed participants to further develop their Tinikling skills while deepening their appreciation of the Philippines' rich cultural heritage.
The Embassy continues to invite youths, including second-generation Filipinos, Filipino-Egyptians, and young locals in Cairo, to join the remaining sessions. The program aims to foster appreciation of the Filipino language and culture while strengthening community ties in Egypt.
Succeeding Tinikling Dance Workshop sessions will be held on 10, and 12 August, from 2:00 to 3:00 PM, at the Embassy chancery. Aside from the dance workshop, the Embassy will also offer Arts Workshops on 18–20 August, featuring DIY fan-making, Philippine monuments-inspired paper crafts, and coloring activities for children.
