BLUE DAY THURSDAY (MANA Mo 2026)

In celebration of Maritime and Archipelagic Nation Awareness Month (MANA Mo) 2026, the Philippine Embassy in Cairo joins the Blue Thursday campaign throughout the month of September.

As part of this initiative, Philippine Embassy personnel will wear blue every Thursday of September to show their support for this year’s theme:

🌊 “Karapatan sa Karagatan, Sama-sama Nating Alagaan” 🌊

As a maritime and archipelagic nation, the Philippines recognizes the vital role of our seas and oceans in our national identity, livelihoods, culture, environment, and sustainable future.

By wearing blue, the Philippine Embassy reaffirms the shared responsibility to protect our maritime resources, uphold our rights in the ocean, and promote sustainable and responsible stewardship of our seas.
