11 November 2023- Another batch of 41 Filipinos with their families are now heading to the Philippines. Embassy officers and staff, led by Amb. Ezzedin Tago, assisted the group at the Cairo International Airport for their flight. This brings the total of Filipinos who have been repatriated to the Philippines to 75.
While in Cairo, the Embassy made arrangements for medical checkups, accommodations, visas for their families and repatriation flights.
An Embassy team, led by Vice Consul Bojer Capati, remains near the Rafah border ready to receive and assist more Filipinos who cross the Rafah border.-END
