AMB. AVIQUIVIL RECEIVES CHAMBERLAIN OF THE PRESIDENCY FOR PH INDEPENDENCE DAY

On 11 June 2026, Ambassador Charmaine Rowena C. Aviquivil received Mr. Mohamed Mokhtar, representative of the Chamberlain of the Presidency. Mr. Mokhtar conveyed the greetings of His Excellency Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, on the occasion of the National Day of the Philippines.

Mr. Mokhtar also wished for the success of the Ambassador’s endeavors as well as for the progress and prosperity of the Philippines.

Amb. Aviquivil acknowledged the warm messages and extended her appreciation to President El-Sisi and Mr. Mokhtar. She informed that this year, aside from the commemoration of the 128th Philippine Independence Day, another milestone to be celebrated is the 80th Anniversary of Philippine-Egypt bilateral relations. She stated that the Philippines looks forward to further enhancing the cooperation and friendship between the two countries in the years to come. END
