AMB. AVIQUIVIL MEETS WITH SUDANESE AMB. EMAD EL-DIN MOSTAFA

06 August 2026 - Ambassador Charmaine Rowena C. Aviquivil paid a courtesy call on Ambassador Emad El-Din Mostafa of the Embassy of Sudan to discuss latest developments in Sudan and areas of possible cooperation.

During the meeting, Amb. Aviquivil noted that 2026 marks the 50th anniversary of bilateral relations of the Philippines and Sudan. For his part, Amb. Emad El-Din acknowledged the friendship between the two countries which share common values and principles. They agreed to further coordinate initiatives that strengthen political consultations and facilitate engagement between the Philippines and Sudan. END.
