AMB. AVIQUIVIL MEETS WITH AFM FOR ASIAN AFFAIRS

22 June 2026 - Ambassador Charmaine Rowena C. Aviquivil paid a courtesy call on Ambassador Amr Hamza, Assistant Foreign Minister for Asia, Australia, New Zealand and Pacific Islands Affairs, to show her appreciation for the welcome extended by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs upon her arrival. For his part, Amb. Hamza expressed the Ministry’s support and cooperation with the Philippine Embassy to further enhance bilateral relations.

The meeting also covered undertakings including bilateral political consultations, possible agreements beneficial to both countries and elevation of the partnership between ASEAN and Egypt. Amb. Aviquivil and Amb. Hamza agreed to work on these initiatives that will facilitate more engagement and strengthen the cooperation between the Philippines and Egypt.
