On 22 August 2023, Ms. Nolet Fulgencio, Philippine Agriculture Attache in charge of Middle East, Africa and India delivered a presentation on the Department of Agriculture's Micro Agrikabuhayan Program for Returning Overseas Filipinos and other agribusiness opportunities. The discussion was held at the Philippine Embassy in Cairo and was attended by twenty Filipino community members in Egypt.
The event is in line with the Philippine government's objective to promote investments in agriculture and share information on opportunities for trade, investments and economic development for Overseas Filipinos.
