Overview of Philippines-Sudan Relations

The Philippine recognized Sudan on 07 March 1956 and diplomatic relations were established on 07 March 1976.

 

As of 28 February 2023, there are 255 Filipinos living in Sudan.

 

On 15 March 2022, H.E. Amb. Ezzedin H. Tago presented his credentials as Non-Resident Ambassador of the Republic of the Philippines to H.E. Lt. Gen. Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, President of the Transitional Sovereign Council of the Republic of the Sudan.

 

Mr. Omer Mahgoub Ahmed Oushek is the Charge d’Affaires of the Embassy of Sudan in Kuala Lumpur, the office of the non-resident Sudanese Ambassador to the Philippines.

 

Mr. Tarig El-Nefeidi has been serving as Honorary Consul of the Philippines to Sudan since 28 February 2006.
