Overview of Philippines-Sudan Relations

The Philippine recognized Sudan on 07 March 1956 and diplomatic relations were established on 07 March 1976.

 

As of March 2024, there are 84 Filipinos who conveyed their decision to stay in Sudan

 

On 15 March 2022, H.E. Amb. Ezzedin H. Tago presented his credentials as Non-Resident Ambassador of the Republic of the Philippines to H.E. Lt. Gen. Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, President of the Transitional Sovereign Council of the Republic of the Sudan.

 

H.E. Hassan Abdel Salam Omer is the Sudanese Ambassador to Malaysia, and the non-resident Sudanese Ambassador to the Philippines.

 

Mr. Tarig El-Nefeidi has been serving as Honorary Consul of the Philippines to Sudan since 28 February 2006.
