Overview of Philippines-Eritrea Relations
Diplomatic relations between the Philippines and Eritrea were established on 04 February 1997.
As of 28 February 2023, there are 7 Filipinos living in Eritrea.
On 23 June 2022, H.E. Ezzedin H. Tago, non-resident Ambassador of the Philippines to the State of Eritrea presented his letters of credence to H.E. Isaias Afwerki, President of the State of Eritrea, at the State Palace in Asmara, Eritrea.
H.E. Tseggai Tesfazion is the Ambassador of Eritrea to Beijing, and is the non-resident Eritrean Ambassador to the Philippines.
